About the Author

Miriam Rudolph
is a visual artist and art educator born and raised in Loma
Plata, Paraguay. She studied art at the University of Manitoba
and is currently pursuing her education degree. Encouraged by
her parents to write and paint, Miriam has enjoyed writing and
documenting her experiences since the age of 5. She currently
lives in Winnipeg and is planning to release another book about
her grandfather’s travels. A Frozen Dream is her first
published book.
