An adventure away from home is
something so special for a curious puppy that it causes Splinter
to explore beyond the worn cedar fence that keeps her safe
inside her yard.
Splinter eagerly listens to
the interesting noises and voices coming from the other side of
the tall fence that surrounds her home. The puppy sniffs around
to find a way out and bravely takes the first steps to an
entirely different world, one filled with sights, sounds and
smells that she never knew existed.
This enchanting children’s
book recounts Splinter’s two-day adventure meeting farm animals
and other creatures. And although she discovers there’s a whole
new world outside her gates, she also realizes that there’s no
place like home!
