As a child in
South Vietnam, poet Natasa To never dreamed that a home across
the globe could inspire poetry within her. But after moving to
the United States as a teenager, To was struck by the
awe-inspiring changes each season ushered in, like a halo of
snowflakes or an autumn sky. It was this awe that compelled To
to honor the majesty of Virginia’s landscape in the form of
poetry.
Inspired by
many Vietnamese poets – like Nguyen Du, Huy Can, and Xuan Dieu
before her – Natasa To’s poetry makes us fall in love with every
passing autumn, winter, spring, and summer. Touching upon
subjects like love, family, and the natural beauty all around
us, the poems of Everlasting Verses speak a universal
language about life and what it means to be human.
About the Author
Author Natasa To currently lives in Gainesville, Virginia, where
she spends the seasons indulging in her love for poetry. She is
planning on releasing several more collections of poetry in the
future titled Eternal Verses, Love Verses, and Everlasting
Verses.
