Prudence Possum and her family must escape a bush fire and start life anew in a new place. Will they be able to adjust or will life be even harder now? 

A terrifying bush fire destroys the home of the animals of the Australian outback and forces them to escape to a nearby valley. All the animals have to band together to help each get away in time. After the escape, Prudence Possum is still haunted as nightmares remind her of the fire she and her family barely escaped.  

But while Prudence is a very beautiful possum, her beauty is not just on the outside. She is also extremely kindhearted and loved by all. One day, the royal family visits the valley where the animals now live and the Prince spots Prudence resting in a fruit tree. He’s immediately smitten and Prudence’s nightmares slowly begin to fade as she begins this new chapter in her life.

 

About the Author



L. T. Hinchcliffe was born in England but lived most of her life in Australia. She and her husband, John, live on their cattle property in the Hinterlands of the Gold Coast Queensland Australia. L.T. was inspired to write this book by all the native animals that live near them. She has three children, six grandchildren and two more on the way. The writing of this book is a wonderful release for L.T., who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2005.
