Poet Grant Newman takes you
on an emotional journey of acculturation for a Jewish man of
color from the 1970s and beyond. Greatly inspired by the beliefs
and writings of author Otto Zvi Cahn, Newman draws upon
religious beliefs that reflect in his writings about love,
death, the workplace, divorce and even our economic climate.
Written from his childhood
years to the present, From Exile to Excision intertwines our
present-day life with traditional Judeo/Christian imagery that
seeks to unify beliefs and values across all religions and walks
of life.
