Meet the Author



Born in the Netherlands, author Bert van Bedaf lives with his partner in rural Leongatha, Australia, near Venus Bay. He has been a freelancer, photojournalist, and writer in Melbourne and overseas. A published non-fiction writer with two books to his credit, he has also published a variety of fiction writing.

Bert van Bedaf has been a writer and journalist for 35 years. A reporter for the Great Southern Star newspaper in Victoria, Australia, his first ghost story was written about a haunted house. After reading it, others contacted him and many other stories evolved. The author says his inspirations come from the human spirit and its many capabilities, “especially its ability to access other spheres outside our own existence. I am also fascinated by life’s endless possibilities and the need to show compassion towards other species living around us.”

Ghosts and Angels will haunt you for a long time to come.
