Lisa and
the Light Dancer teaches children to learn, in a fun way, to
have a value system informed by their own sense of good will and
common sense.
Walking home from school with
her best friend Debbie, Lisa quarrels because Debbie is going on
a wonderful summer vacation. Lisa is jealous of the time they
will spend apart and envious of the fun Debbie will have. Lisa’s
behavior is very unpleasant and Debbie begins to cry and run
away. This is the first of several ethical challenges Lisa
confronts.
Like most kids her age, Lisa responds in a childish
manner...thinking first of herself. But as Lisa considers
unwise choices, a mysterious dancing light comes to visit her.
The Light Dancer continuously evolves in aspect and color to
depict the problem at hand., gently helping Lisa make more
satisfying and grown up decisions. Eventually, the amazing
dancing light reveals its true nature.
