Three teens, Rob, Brandie, and Jim, were about to start their senior year of high school. One of them was suicidal. The suicidal teen was taken and 'saved' by a vampire. The teen then went to kill a girl that he had loved, and as a result she was taken. The suicidal teens' best friend was also taken. Now the three teen vampires are trying to find a way to survive in their new lives. Their families do not know if they are alive or dead, and they need to keep it that way. Since they are listed as missing persons they cannot leave their creator, William, for fear of being caught. They cannot do anything which requires identification of any kind because that might get them caught. If they go back to their families what will they do to them? So they learn to get along with William and his sister, Jane. Still the three teens want to go out on their own without listening to the good advice that William offers them. Finding a new life for themselves might get themselves, or everyone else around them, killed.
