After spending the last three years helping her mother battle a terminal illness, Celia Stewart is ready to go back to college, and get a job.  Her worry is that she can find a job that will support her while going to school.

Reid Matthews is a handsome, widowed architect who is looking for a nanny for his six-year-old daughter, Olivia, because his current nanny is retiring.  He wants to make sure he selects a good role model.  He needs someone with high ethic and moral standards to help raise his daughter.

Everything seems to be working out pretty well, but when Olivia makes a wish at her seventh birthday party, things begin to change.  How far will two people go to make a child’s wish come true?

Kathleen Pinsky lives in Elgin, Illinois with her husband, daughter and their Picardy Sheppard.  She works as an administrative assistant at a high school.  This is her first book, but she’s currently working on another featuring two of the characters from this novel.
