Alex Quinn,
a slightly anti-social teenage prodigy, is just trying to live a
normal life with a group of loyal friends and a love interest.
Although living in the United States during World War III makes
life anything but ordinary.
One night,
strange missiles destroy Alex’s home city of San Francisco, but
mysteriously leave its inhabitants alive and unscathed. Alex
loses his parents in the chaos and finds himself a captive in a
child slavery ring. The men in charge soon capture Alex’s
friends, but Alex orchestrates a plan that allows them all to
escape.
However,
the teenagers quickly discover that they are not yet free from
harm. Alex and his friends uncover a government conspiracy that
threatens the people of the entire world

About the Author
Jonathan Tomczak, a child prodigy himself, currently attends
high school in South San Francisco, CA. Although this is his
first published work, he has been writing since the third grade.
He credits his own experiences and the support of his family and
friends as inspiration for this novel.
