Recovering Roads
By Michael C. Bernard

Recovering Roads is a compelling tale of friendship and loyalty that begins when three addicts discover they can’t thrive in a confined space. Already uneasy in society, with souls laid bare, the course is not always smooth. Old allies Tom and Pete, hook up with Anthony - an explosive leader, setting off on an adventure to cut corners and make fast decisions. Yet, what happens when trust alone is tested and isn’t more than a drop in the constant flowing world outside, where nothing is stable?  Doing what’s required of them to survive as a group as well as individuals, Tom starts to find himself again, learning he can re-accomplish the things he’s failed at, including love. But in the rapid reality of daily life on the streets, he must eventually choose a definitive path.... the surviving whims of his closest friends or the new love stumbling into the setting.
