Mother and children’s
author Riley Ostermann’s So Big sends an important
message to parents and children about family bonds and healthy
lifestyles.
Ethan is an inquisitive four-year-old boy.
One morning when Ethan gives his mom a hug, his mom tells him,
“You’re my big boy!” Ever curious, Ethan wonders why this is so.
He knows that once he was a tiny baby so how did he grow so much
and how much more will he grow?
This delightful tale is about the importance of the mother and
child relationship and familial bonds throughout life. As Ethan
learns about growing up, he also learns the importance of being
healthy and of the love of family.
Ostermann’s message will appeal to parents and children alike;
beautifully rendered, it captures the wondrous joy of living
life to the fullest with family, the importance of being
healthy, and the value of nutritious meals, exercise and rest in
order to “grow bigger,” physically, emotionally and spiritually.
