About the Author

Ernie K. is a native Washington D.C. resident who enjoyed 21 years of service as a Federal Government employee before taking her housing/ property management skills and experience to the private sector. Tears Fall Hard Like Diamonds is her debut novel. The former foster parent and single mother of two adopted daughters presently resides in Prince George County Maryland, along with her mischievous toy Pomeranian puppy, GiGi, and her trusty laptop computer. An avid reader and published poet, she is currently collaborating with her biological daughter, Veronica L. Price (Roni), on a book of original poems.
