Meet the Author

Esther L. Mackey says that although these characters came to her one by one, she put them all together into one story. Since her retirement, she has wanted to write quality children’s books. A lifelong resident of Joliet, Illinois, she is presently working on her next two books, Trouble, Duck and Big Dog Go Camping and Little Bear and Honey Bee.

 

 

 

Here Comes Trouble!

The pup’s name is Trouble, and that’s with a capital T! Bad things don’t just follow this puppy around, he’s the cause!

For a little dog, Trouble creates a lot of big problems. Trouble and his buddies, Duck and Big Dog, like to sneak out of their yards so they can go on adventures together. And what adventures this troublesome trio has.

Ever see three animals make a mess out of a junkyard? Or walk into a bank? Or get lost in the snow? Wherever this little dog goes, trouble is sure to follow.

Although the three friends only want to explore beyond their own backyards, disaster always seems to happen. Children will enjoy their antics and will cheer when Jimmy shows up to save the day. Jimmy is the owner of Trouble and Duck. (Their friend Big Dog lives next door.) Just like Superman, Jimmy always shows up in the nick of time.
