The
Broken R
by William Robinson is a modern-day western tale of family
secrets, corporate greed and murder.
Meet the Robinson’s family,
wealthy ranch owners in a small western community.
William Robinson, aka, “Wild
Bill,” ran the ranch and his large family with a firm hand as he
did his company, Simplicity. Gaining his wealth through
enormous struggles and hard times to make his company into a
multi-billion dollar enterprise, Wild Bill has a secret that no
one, not even family, knows about. He dies tragically with his
secret, and youngest son, Sam moves from the city to attend his
father’s funeral. Sam learns that there is a disturbing mystery
surrounding Simplicity.
Murder is on the minds of
many, and they all want their piece of the pie.
Sam unwillingly enters the
cut-throat world of corporate giants and greed. He can’t trust
anyone—not even the people he thought he knew best. But this
modern-day cowboy will do whatever it takes to protect his
heritage, his family and the Robinson fortune.
Who is trying to ruin the
company? Who has the most to lose and the most to gain? Will
Sam be able to save Simplicity or will he die trying? What
message is his father trying to tell him from the grave?
Robinson’s narration has the
wit of Mark Twain with the good old Western tradition of Louis
Lamour. You’ll cheer for this modern-day cowboy and remember
its characters long after the final page is read.
