The Devil’s Fragrance
By Martin Fine

Travel from rural England through France and Germany on a nail-biting journey to discover the beguiling secret of The Devil’s Fragrance

Legend connects epic seducers like Cleopatra, the Marquis de Sade and Casanova to a fragrance with such potent aphrodisiac properties that one sniff reduces their quarry to a quivering mass of sexual craving.

But is this substance more than just myth?  In London, a top fashion model claims an insignificant and unattractive middle-aged man raped her.  He says he merely seduced her.   Meanwhile, two young Frenchmen embark on a voyage of carnal discovery aided by a seductive fragrance.

Rumors abound and the cutthroat world of international perfumery is turned upside down.  The players, including a Japanese industrialist, an ex-East German spy and a high-ranking member of the French gay community, find themselves embroiled in a no-holds-barred fight to recreate the long lost formula.
