If in my entire
existence, I were ever given just one single chance to hold the
microphone just one single time, to deliver just one single
message, to dispense just one single advice, without a single
doubt it would most definitely be: to discover, unleash and
circle your life around the very thing that perfectly explains
your existence, the reason you were meticulously, thoroughly and
delicately designed, what you were strategically created to be,
that extremely genuine and distinctive quality that makes you
the irreplaceable, inimitable, you. What I like to call your
very own, one-of-a-kind, exceptionally exclusive and heavenly
unique Mustard Seed. The Seed that holds the promise and
potential to manifest itself into the person you are meant to be
since the beginning of time, the fruit, the biggest of all
garden trees.
About the Author
Twenty-four years
ago, a sixteen year-old girl and a twenty year-old boy were
eagerly yet terrifyingly giving birth to a baby girl in San
Diego, California. Alexandra’s birth alone was a result of both
pure and ardent teenage love and yet an act of admirably mature
bravery. Alexandra grew up in Mexico with her mother’s family up
until she was four years old, when her life took a much
unexpected turn as her mother married Alex Sheridan. Five years
ago her entire family moved to Miami, Florida when Alex was
shockingly diagnosed with cancer. The chemo-circus lasted almost
four amazing years, as Alex courageously wrestled with cancer.
However, when stage four kicked in, when all hopes for staying
in this world were over and gone, Alexandra began to read to her
father about his future, the next step in his horizon, the
Kingdom in the Heavens. Throughout these unimaginably painful
months, this reading and discovering of God’s overwhelming
Kingdom that was waiting for her father with arms wide open, as
bizarre as it sounds, somehow made her feel left behind in this
painfully competitive, money-driven, ego-centric world, filled
with inexplicable sorrow, where she had no idea why or
even how to achieve the kind of Greatness that everybody
was talking about. This unnerving feeling began to spill rivers
of words and questions out of her heart and mind and into her
slow performing, eight year-old PC. And in the middle of all
that incessant longing for answers, somewhere between sleepless
spiritual nights and unbearably agonizing good-byes, was when
this journey began.
