Heather Drumm has dealt with
loss for most of her 23 years. The death of her mother, the
disappearance of her sister, and the emotional abandonment of
her father leaves her confused and angry throughout her
childhood—she leaves for college filled with more questions than
answers.
Returning home, Heather faces
insurmountable obstacles in her quest for answers. Obstacles as
high as the blades of grass that grow so thick in the backyard
she played in as a child, that they almost whistle in the winds
during a storm. In pursuit of the truth family secrets come to
light. Heather realizes that some secrets are better left unsaid
— some secrets are better off hidden forever. Instead of

About the Author
H.M. Weimar lives in
Tacoma, Washington where she is a full-time writer, mother of
five and
has one
grandson. She is
working on a screenplay and a novel series about a group of
Christians who use their spiritual gifts to help God battle
demons called The Sword of Christ.
