The lure of travel calls out to young Jay Patterson. After he meets the free-spirited Willy Jacobs, the two become bohemians on an unforgettable journey along the roads and rails of America.

Willy is a street-smart drifter who helps Jay overcome his shyness. As the unlikely pair travel down the highways, Willy persuades Jay to become more outgoing. The two have a breezy trip, until they meet up with some of the harsh realities of the open road.

Among their encounters, they meet a psychopathic couple who give them a scare. Then Jay meets a female drifter. Will Jay enter a magical relationship or take another pathway? Thumb Flagging is a timeless tale just waiting to be explored.

 

About the Author

Jerome Peterson grew up in Rockford, Illinois. He now lives in Sonora, California, with his wife, Carolyn, and their dog, Hazel. He is working on his next novel.
