Author Dan H. Berriman shares
a riveting tale of life in a South African mining town during a
time of great change and even greater promises for the future.
Enlightening and inspiring, Reverend Berriman shares his own
personal journey on a path to salvation and political freedom.
As South Africa struggles to
find its new identity during the end of apartheid, a growing
Christian faith, pitted against powerful race issues and
persecution within the gold mining industry, creates a
modern-day story of David and Goliath.
Persecuted for
his religious beliefs, Reverend Berriman went through periods of
doubt, fear, and dark despair, questioning his faith in God and
his purpose as a Christian. His fascinating eight-year journey
takes him through a political rebirth of Africa, when the
legendary Nelson Mandela was released from prison, as well as a
rebirth of his own Christian faith.
This is the story of one
man’s experiences during the turbulent years in South Africa
when institutionalized apartheid finally came to an end – a time
when one man could make a difference.
