By Major R.E.G Sinke, Jr.

The True Story Of A Soldier Thrust Into A War That Changes His Life Forever.

As a young man, Sean Paul O'Malley played for the Ottawa Rough Riders in the Canadian Football League. In 1966, he enlisted in the U.S. Marines and soon traveled to Vietnam. Once there, he illustrated his military prowess and bravery, earning himself three meritorious promotions.

O'Malley’s story takes an interesting turn when meets a Navy nurse named Paula after he is wounded and evacuated to a hospital ship. Driven by the allure of forbidden love, the two maintain a relationship that must remain a secret.

As the first installment of a trilogy, this story is just the beginning of an epic account of one man’s experience in a controversial war. These tales of heroism in battle are riveting and transfixing and leave the reader fascinated, absorbed, and in awe.
