Exploring the
Mysteries of Life
With or Without God,
Life’s Mysteries Continue offers a fresh look at questions
that have bedeviled humans since the dawn of time; questions we
all face, especially in times of personal distress, or loss of
loved ones.
“Reading this book,” the
author writes, “may change how you think of yourself, your loved
ones, and even your pets. It may alter your beliefs about the
purpose of life, the nature of death, and the role of religion.”
His writing style is conversational and appropriate for most
English dialects, from Boston to Mumbai.
What makes this book a
major contribution is the author’s unique perspective. Sondlo
Leonard Mhlaba grew up in Zimbabwe in what he terms a
“pre-modern age.” His early years were subject to the tyranny of
ghosts, witches and other unseen forces. Thanks to the foresight
of his parents, he and his seven siblings were prepared for the
modern world through education. The author went on to earn a PhD
in America and to teach college physics and mathematics at
university level.
The book
ends with a fascinating look into the future of humankind,
taking the reader through uncharted territory, while
illuminating a new sense of awe about the meaning of life and
what may lie beyond.
